3 'American Horror Story: Hotel' Promos That Will Haunt You
Fifth season of FX anthology series releases three new teasers.
— -- You may want to skip the latest promos from the upcoming season of "American Horror Story" if you'll be checking into a hotel anytime soon.
The short clips from "American Horror Story: Hotel" are the stuff of nightmares: A creepy eye staring back at you from a keyhole, a passel of little blonde children who may or may not be alive, being sewn into a mattress.
It all comes from the mind of creator Ryan Murphy, who has promised that this season will be darker and bloodier than past ones.

"The upcoming season that we're doing is much more horror-based; it's much more dark," Murphy told Deadline in June. "It's about a theme and an idea that's very close to my heart that I've always wanted to do that's a little bloodier and grislier I think than anything that we've done before; it's straight horror this year."
It also stars Lady Gaga as the Countess, the blood-thirsty owner of the Hotel Cortez. She stars alongside regulars Matt Bomer, who plays her blood-hungry lover; Kathy Bates, who plays Donovan's mother and a front-desk clerk; and Sarah Paulson, who returns as addict Hypodermic Sally.
"American Horror Story: Hotel" premieres Wednesday, October 7 on FX.
