The pop star, 22, gave her 28.7 million Twitter followers a play-by-play of the on-board drama Sunday, describing it as good as a "Scandal" episode.
From her early morning flight, Lovato tweeted:
Soooo.... I'm on a plane and we aren't taking off because this girl and her mom don't want to check their carry-ons. Where's the popcorn?!
