Sarah Paulson and Holland Taylor Share Sweet Tweets

— -- Although Sarah Paulson and Holland Taylor have yet to publicly confirm that they are dating, the two actresses aren't exactly hiding their affection for one another either.

The "American Horror Story" star, 40, and the "Two and Half Men" star, 72, have been exchanging sweet tweets since the summer.

Just this past weekend, after stepping out in New York City to attend the opening night of "School of Rock" on Broadway, Paulson proclaimed Taylor her favorite actress.

Reps for both actresses did not immediately respond to ABC News' request for comment.

Taylor recently told NPR station WNYC's "Death, Sex & Money" podcast that she was in her first deeply committed relationship ever, while declining to name the woman she is dating.

"I haven't come out because I am out," she said, adding, "I live out."

She did say her love interest is a younger woman and that the pair are discussing marriage.

"Given my generation it would not be something that would automatically occur to me," Taylor said of marrying her partner. "But as a symbol, as a pledge, as a plighting one's troth, it would be a wonderful thing to do."

Paulson, who previously dated actress Cherry Jones, has been open about being sexually fluid. "Guys don’t ask me out because they think I like women," Paulson told New York magazine last year, adding that women "don’t ask me out because they don’t know what I am. Do I have to write a sign that says EQUAL-OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER?"
