June 20 -- Apparently, nobody's told Jet Li that the main point of Hollywood motion pictures is to get people into the audience. On his official Web site, www.jetli.com, the Hong Kong action star tells people to stay away. More specifically, the conscientious martial arts master is asking that Kiss of the Dragon-going parents leave their children at home.

"Kiss of the Dragon is an adult movie and deals with adult themes of a man keeping his promise and understanding his responsibilities," the actor writes. "The action scenes are also directed towards an adult audience and as such the movie is rated R. I ask that you please do not take your young children to see Kiss of the Dragon." The movie opens on July 6.

The 38-year-old Li, whose star rose significantly after he played the lead in last year's Romeo Must Die, already has an alternate plan for parents who want to watch some kick-ass kung-fu with the kids.

"If you would like a movie to share with your children, please wait a few more months," he writes. "On November 2, my film The One will be released. This is a PG-13 film and more appropriate for younger children to view."

The One stars Li as a man who travels through parallel universes where he kills the equivalents of himself, whose powers are then dispersed to his remaining selves, making them stronger. Li plays both a good self, Gabe, and a bad self, Yulaw; the latter is trying to snuff out the former, who resides in our universe. Basically, he kicks his own ass.

The high-flying man of action recently inked a 10-figure deal with Miramax to appear in an action comedy that's based on his own story idea. He'll reportedly receive slightly more than $10 million to star in the flick, his biggest Hollywood payday yet.
