Former Madam Fleiss Arrested

April 2 -- Ex-Hollywood Madam Heidi Fleiss is back behind bars after being arrested for parole violation Thursday.

According to authorities, Fleiss, 35, was taken into custody by federal marshals after admitting to using methamphetamines and missing mandatory drug tests.

Fleiss, who was released from federal prison in 1999, was arrested upon arriving for a scheduled meeting with her probation officer, a spokesman for the U.S. Attorneys Office in Los Angeles told Reuters.

In 1995, Fleiss was also charged with probation violation after using methamphetamines. The Hollywood call-girl boss was arrested in 1993 following a sting arrest that found her running an elite prostitution ring based in Hollywood, Calif.

Fleiss was convicted on conspiracy, tax evasion, and money laundering charges. She was released from a federal women's prison in September 1999.
