Giovanni's Spencer Keeps It in the Family

February 9 -- It's a family affair on the set of Giovanni Ribisi's next film.

The Gift star's twin sister, Marissa, and their mother will join forces on the set of indie romantic comedy Spencer.

The siblings will both star (Giovanni in a cameo), while mom Gay Ribisi will produce. According to Variety, Marissa co-wrote the script with Meredith Morton and Shane Edelman, who will also direct for the first time.

Spencer is the story of a hapless man who rediscovers his childhood crush and becomes determined to make her fall in love with him.

Also starring are Adam Goldberg (who appeared with Giovanni in Saving Private Ryan and with Marissa in Dazed & Confused), Jesse Bradford (Bring It On), and Brad Rowe (Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss).

The multitasking sibs also co-starred in 1998's Some Girls, which Marissa also co-wrote and their mother produced.
