Sandra Bullock in Icy Landing
Dec. 21 -- A plane carrying actress and three others skidded off a runway while landing in icy conditions in Jackson Hole, Wyo., Reuters reported.
No one was apparently injured in the Wednesday incident, Bullock’s publicist told the news service. The 36-year-old actress, who underwent a similar scenario in the 1999 movie Forces of Nature, was traveling with her boyfriend, musician Bob Schneider, and two crewmembers on a small private aircraft.
They were landing in the popular resort town of Jackson Hole early Wednesday morning when their plane apparently slid off the tarmac and into the snow, publicist Pat Kingsley said.
Kingsley said none of the four people on board required medical attention but that the plane was damaged.
Since no harm was done, you can now commence with your own speeding-out-of-control-vehicle jokes about the Speed star. Bullock’s new movie, Miss Congeniality, opens Friday.
Jackson Hole just happens to be the stomping ground for celeb pilot Harrison Ford, who effected a civilian rescue this summer. There was apparently no reason to call out Han, er, Indy, er, Harry, in this instance.
