Geena Davis Engaged

Nov. 28 -- The fourth time may be the charm for Geena Davis. The Oscar-winning actress is heading for the altar to wed husband No. 4, her publicist says.

The 44-year-old star of ABC-TVs The Geena Davis Show and California surgeon Reza Jarrahy (pronounced Jar-a-hee), 29, became engaged over the weekend.

They are very, very happy and excited to be engaged, her publicist, Paul Bloch, said Monday. The lovebirds, who met through mutual friends two years ago, have not yet set a date.

Davis was formerly married to her Earthgirls Are Easy co-star Jeff Goldblum, and to Renny Harlin, who directed her in the two action flops Cutthroat Island and The Long Kiss Goodnight. Her first hubby was restaurant manager Richard Emmolo, whom she divorced in 1983.

Davis Now a TV Homemaker

The bubbly redhead won a Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for playing the lovable dog trainer in The Accidental Tourist and was also nominated for Best Actress for her role in the landmark 1991 female buddy pic Thelma & Louise.

The tall actress, who made a splash at this years Emmys with an all-too-revealing Pamela Dennis dress, took to the small screen this season as a single career woman who gets an instant family when she marries a writer (Peter Horton) with two kids.

On the big screen, shell be reprising her role as the mother of a talking mouse in Stuart Little 2, due in late 2001.
