Beck and Winona's Sexx Laws?
August 16 -- Pop music tastemaker Beck is apparently rebounding from a recent breakup by singing, "I wanna git witchoo" to actress Winona Ryder.
We can already hear the hecklers shouting "loser," and we ain't talkin' about Beck's biggest hit. Winona — who was most recently doing the rebound thang (courtesy of her ex, Matt Damon) with Sex and the City's suave Chris Noth — has a reputation for "cursing" the careers of musicians she's dated in the past.
Anyone remember Soul Asylum? (Pause) Green Day? The Lemonheads? All are forgotten or flailing groups whose members have been romantically linked, publicly and privately, to Winona.
According to Rollingstone.com, the cute-as-a-bug Beck split up with his pixie-esque girlfriend, Leigh Limon, last month and hooked up with Winona. Liman and the eclectic artist had been together since Beck was a broke coffee-house folk singer in Los Angeles — probably around the time Winona was convincing Johnny Depp to get that "Winona Forever" tattoo.
But now they've been seen together all over Tinseltown, and we bet they're probably fighting over the same hairstylist. Beck reportedly flew the Autumn in New York starlet to Ireland for a Sexx Laws style holiday at a castle. They made their first public appearance in early August at a music festival outside of Dublin, where Beck was performing.
