Celebrities turn out for USMNT World Cup group stage finale

USMNT falls to Turkey, moves onto knockout round

Celebrities from across the spectrum of American culture turned out to see the United States take on Turkey in their group stage finale of the 2026 World Cup in Los Angeles.

From Usha Vance to Will Ferrell, the stars were out at the third of three group stage matches for the U.S. on Thursday night.

The celebrities were treated to an exciting match as the game ended in dramatic fashion with a stoppage time goal for Turkey to take a 3-2 lead, and win the match, marking Turkey's first and only win and the first loss for the U.S.

Despite the loss, the U.S. will advance to the round of 32, where they will take on Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wednesday, July 1.
