Naomi Osaka is taking fashion to the next level on the tennis court.

Ahead of her first-round match at the 2026 French Open on Tuesday, where she defeated Germany's Laura Siegemund, Osaka stepped out in an all-black look by Swiss couturier Kevin Germanier.

The custom walk-on outfit featured a black sleeveless jacket with beading and a pleated skirt, according to Vogue.

Germanier, who described the look as "court-ture" in an Instagram post, added that Osaka's walk-on outfit was made with upcycled Nike garments and was reworked from a "previous design" collaboration with Vietnamese fashion designer Nguyễn Tiến Truyển.

Osaka's on-court outfit was a sparkling bronze Nike tennis skirt set designed by Germanier, according to a joint Instagram post shared by the tennis star and Outlander Magazine, which captured both looks in a feature photo shoot.

Osaka has previously demonstrated her love of couture and fashion on and off the court.

At the Australian Open in January, she wore a Robert Wun design inspired by her 2-year-old daughter Shai, which included a wide-brimmed hat adorned with a white butterfly, an ethereal white veil, a white pleated miniskirt over wide-legged pants and a white umbrella with a butterfly.

At the U.S. Open in 2024, she donned a custom Nike look by AMBUSH designer Yoon Ahn, which featured green ruffles and an oversized bow, as well as a detachable tutu and cropped jacket.

Earlier this month, Osaka attended the 2026 Met Gala and wore another custom design by Wun. The design, titled "The Red Within," was a two-part look that featured a sculpted white wool coat with scattered open seams exposing red crystals and feathers, which then opened up to reveal a deep red gown covered in Swarovski crystals.

According to Wun, the gown took more than "3,280 hours of handwork" to create.

The look also featured a sculpted white hat with red crystal and feather detailing by Awon Golding of Awon Golding Millinery.
