The Prince and Princess of Wales are celebrating Valentine’s Day with a heartfelt photo.

On Saturday, Catherine and William shared a never-before-seen photograph on Instagram, offering royal watchers a rare, intimate look at the couple.

The black-and-white image shows the pair seated outdoors, smiling warmly as they lean in close.

“Happy Valentine’s Day 💕,” they captioned the post.

The same photograph was also shared to their Instagram Stories.

The image was captured by photographer Josh Shinner during a session the couple previously tapped for their 2025 Christmas card portrait.

While one photograph from that sitting was released during the holiday season, this newly unveiled frame remained under wraps until now.

The romantic post comes just weeks after Catherine marked her 44th birthday on Jan. 9 with a reflective message shared on social media in the fourth installment of her "Mother Nature" series.

"The Mother Nature series has been a deeply personal, creative reflection on how nature has helped me heal," the caption said. "But it is also a story about the power of nature and creativity in collective healing."

The birthday video was posted one day after the couple made their first official outing of 2026, stepping out together in London.
