Prince William and Princess Kate are introducing a new member of their royal family to the masses.

"Welcome to the family, Otto! 1 today," they captioned an X post featuring a photo of their new pet.

Prince William and Kate Middleton shared a photo of their family dog, Otto, on social media.

Otto, a brown pup, appears to be a cocker spaniel, just like its furry sibling Orla.

The couple and their three children also had a previous black cocker spaniel named Lupo, who died in November 2020 after nine years with the family.

News of the family's new dog comes on the heels of William and Kate's 15th wedding anniversary earlier this week.

The heir to the British throne and the Duchess of Wales married on April 29, 2011, in London and are parents to Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 8.

The couple released a new family photo on their anniversary, featuring the family of five lying on the grass alongside Orla and Otto.
