Prince William and his wife Kate, the Princess of Wales, stepped out Wednesday night at the state banquet held for President Donald Trump during his state visit to the United Kingdom.

William and Kate walked together into the banquet, ahead of Tiffany Trump, the daughter of the president, and her husband, Michael Boulos.

Kate wore a couture gown by British designer Phillipa Lepley and the Lover's Knot Tiara, which she has worn to other state banquets and events in the past.

The tiara, which is encrusted with pearls and diamonds, was previously beloved by Kate's mother-in-law, the late Princess Diana, and was created for Queen Elizabeth II's grandmother Queen Mary in 1914.

At the banquet, Kate was seated next to Trump, who attended the banquet alongside his wife, first lady Melania Trump.

William, the eldest son of Charles and the late Princess Diana, is first in line to the throne.
