Starbucks debuts new summer 'Bearista' cup after viral craze, plus new limited-time drinks
Starbucks is giving a fan-favorite collectible a summer refresh with the new Pink Bearista Glass Cold Cup.
The seasonal bear-shaped drinking vessel, which rolls out at select Starbucks coffeehouses on July 13, was inspired by the popular Pink Drink lineup of beverages, the coffee giant said in a blog post Monday.

The new limited-edition Glass Cold Cup features the signature bear wearing a white baseball hat with "Starbucks" written in pink across the front, complete with a strawberry-themed straw topper.

This marks the coffee chain's second iteration of Bearista merch, after the original winter version sparked a frenzy among customers, who flooded stores, social media and resale sites in an effort to get their hands on the viral cups, which sold out almost instantly.

To avoid the same consumer chaos as last time, Starbucks is making the new Bearista cups available early for Starbucks Reserve Members starting July 9 through the new online Starbucks Shop. After that, the cups will launch in select U.S. locations on July 13, available while supplies last.
Starbucks said it is also imposing a two-item purchase limit per customer this time around.
New and returning drinks for summer at Starbucks
In addition to the Pink Drink-inspired Bearista cup, Starbucks announced earlier this month that a slate of new and returning summer drinks -- including the S'mores Frappuccino -- will be hitting menus for a limited-time.

The Seattle-based coffee chain will debut a new S'mores Cold Brew with Marshmallow Cold Foam, available starting June 30 to Starbucks Rewards members and July 1 to all other customers.

There are also more blended beverages hitting the menu starting July 14, including new Blended Energy Refreshers -- featuring Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade and Mango Strawberry Lemonade flavors -- as well as a Blended Pink Energy Drink.
Finally, Starbucks said it is adding a frozen version of its popular Matcha Lemonade that will be available for a limited time.
