Home Depot's 12-foot-tall Skelly is back, and he brought friends
You know him, you might love him, and now, he's back and better than ever: It's officially the annual launch of Home Depot's 12-foot Skelly!
Back for 2026, this year's new iteration of the infamous skeleton sees him more interactive than ever thanks to a lifelike movement, 20 animated eye designs to choose from and an app-controlled voice modulator that lets you record custom phrases -- you may remember this feature from last year's Ultra Skelly, which the Halloween super-fans here at "GMA" got their hands on for a spooky good time.
With these improvements comes a slightly higher price tag of $379, but those who want to save some money and don't want the extra bells and whistles will appreciate the classic Skelly still being in stock on on sale for the longstanding price of $299.
Joining Skelly's boneyard crew this year are plenty of new and old friends in Home Depot's four Halloween lines: :"Grave & Bones," "Wicked Woods," "Halloween Classics" and "Dead Water."
"Grave & Bones" is where you'll find Skelly, as well as a new 11-foot LED mummy, a 6-feet tall animated mixologist, an animated LED hearse complete with skeleton driver, 8- and 9-feet tall dinosaur skeletons and more.
"Wicked Woods" is a line filled with creep characters ripped straight from a fairytale-turned-horror movie with an evil 7-foot rabbit, a horrifying haunted witch, a leprechaun named Cursed Clover, giant murderous butcher pigs and the like.
"Halloween Classics" is exactly as it sounds, with characters like Stitch, the Gremlins and Frankenstein making appearances alongside Jack and Sally from "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and plenty of other beloved favorites, while "Dead Water" offers pirate ship horrors from the ocean's darkest depths.
