SELF's 2024 Sneaker Awards are here, and stacked with lots of standout, tester-approved winners.
This year, 167 styles were submitted from 50 brands — the most to date. Of the 20% of the shoes tested by a culmination of editors, experts, self-described marathoners, new moms and dads — there were 30 clear winners.
The winning sneakers were evaluated based on fit, shape, comfort and style, and the top picks have been organized into 13 different categories including everything from "best shoes for heavy duty walking" to "best shoes for bopping around town all day."
