Met Gala 2026: Kylie Jenner accents her look with bleached eyebrows
Kylie Jenner stepped out at the 2026 Met Gala on Monday night wearing a nude-colored look and eyebrows to match.
The reality TV star and beauty mogul wore a strapless Schiaparelli gown that featured a flesh-toned corset and a cream skirt crafted to look like a dress falling to the floor.
She accented the look with bleached eyebrows, following in the footsteps of fellow celebrities like Miley Cyrus, who wore bleached eyebrows to the 2025 Oscars, Jenna Ortega, who bleached hers for the "Wednesday" season 2 press tour last year, and sister Kendall Jenner, who bleached her brows for the 2022 Met Gala.
Kylie Jenner's hair and makeup team told Vogue.com they tried many different hair and makeup looks before landing on the bleached eyebrows.
"We even tested no brows just to see how far we could push it," said Iggy Rosales, Jenner's hairstylist, who also styled Jenner's sleek tresses in loose curls with an accent curl above one eye.
This year's Met Gala theme was "Costume Art," which aims to "celebrate fashion as an art form" according to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Met Costume Institute.
The dress code for the gala was "Fashion is Art," according to Vogue.
Rosales said that when working with Jenner, the team wanted to create a "full moment."
"It's the freedom to really create something," Rosales said. "You're not just doing glam, you're building a full moment, [and] when everything aligns (the dress, the hair, the makeup), it feels like you've created a character. Not just a look."
