Marysol Castro Biography

— -- Marysol Castro is the weather and feature correspondent of ABC News' weekend edition of "Good Morning America."

Castro will join anchors Bill Weir and Kate Snow when the show debuts on September 4th.

Marysol came to ABC News from WPIX-TV in New York, where she worked as a general assignment reporter.

Prior to that, from 2000 to 2002, Castro worked as an anchor and correspondent for News 12 The Bronx.

Since being named "Good Morning America's" weekend feature correspondent earlier this summer, Castro has been reporting for the weekday edition of "Good Morning America."
