Recipes from Carly Simon's 'Potluck'

June 18 -- Potluck parties bring folks together. That's why Tamara Weiss and Carly Simon cooked up a new book called Potluck at Midnight Farm: Celebrating Food, Family, and Friends on Martha's Vineyard. Check out the three recipes they shared on Good Morning America below.

Luscious Fruit Salad: Ingredients & Directions

1 large, ripe honeydew melon 1 large, ripe cantaloupe 2 cups watermelon chunks, seeds removed 1 1/2 pounds seedless grapes, cut in half 2 oranges, peeled, sectioned and seeded 3 ripe peaches, pitted and cut into bite-size pieces 1 banana, peeled and sliced into 1/4-inch rounds 1-pint strawberries cut in half 1-pint blackberries (leave them whole) 1-pint raspberries (leave them whole) 1 lime Fresh mint for garnish

1. Cut the honeydew melon and cantaloupe in half and scoop out the seeds. Slice these halves into wedges, cut off the rinds, then cut the melon into small chunks. Place these in a large glass or ceramic bowl. Toss in the watermelon. Next the grapes, oranges, and peaches. Place the banana rounds on top, but refrain from stirring or the salad will become mushy. Add the strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries to the top of the fruit salad.

2. Squeeze the juice from the lime halves all over the fruits. Garnish with fresh mint leaves, then gently toss just before serving. I use my hands for this as they bruise the fruits less than any utensils.

3. Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled and, if you like, top with raisins, dried cranberries, granola, yogurt, sliced almonds, or rose petals.

Corn Spoon Pudding: Ingredients & Directions

1 (8 1/2-ounce) box corn muffin mix 1 (7 1/2-ounce) can whole kernel corn 1 (7 1/2-ounce) can creamed corn 1 cup sour cream 2 large eggs, beaten 1/2 cup melted, unsalted butter 1/2 cup grated Swiss cheese

1. Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Combine all the ingredients except the cheese in a large mixing bowl. Pour into a slightly greased 9x13-inch-baking dish. Bake for 35 minutes.
