Brazilian authorities investigating if Flávio Bolsonaro fled to the US following election defeat

Brazilian authorities are unaware of defeated presidential candidate Flávio Bolsonaro's whereabouts Tuesday and are investigating whether he fled to the U.S., according to authorities familiar with the investigation.

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva defeated Bolsonaro in a runoff election Sunday.
