IDF claims killing of senior Iranian intelligence officials
The Israel Defense Forces on Monday claimed to have killed several senior Iranian intelligence officials in its opening wave of strikes on Iran on Saturday.
The IDF named Syed Yahya Hamidi -- who it said was the deputy minister of intelligence for Israel affairs -- and Jalal F'or Hussein -- who it named as the head of the Intelligence Ministry’s espionage division.
The IDF said it also killed “a number of other senior officials” alongside Hamidi and Hussein.
