IDF details new strikes on Lebanon
The Israel Defense Forces said in a statement that its expanded strikes in Lebanon -- including on the capital Beirut -- were a response to Hezbollah's launch of "several rockets and UAVs" from Lebanese territory toward Israel.

The IDF targets included "command posts, infrastructure and a vehicle carrying two Radwan operatives near the area of Kafr D'gal," the IDF said.
The IDF noted that its "significant" strikes against Hezbollah in southern and eastern Lebanon had been ongoing -- despite a November 2024 ceasefire -- prior to the launch of the U.S.-Israeli operation against Iran on Saturday.
