Venezuelan deported from US loses both legs in hotel collapse
A 22-year-old Venezuelan man who had just been deported from the U.S. lost both legs when the hotel he was in collapsed, his family told ABC News.
A video shared by Anderson Salcedo Lozano’s family appears to show him being pulled from the rubble. Lozano is now in the hospital.
“We are just praying, that’s all we can do,” Lozano’s aunt told ABC News.

She said Lozano is an asylum seeker who was living in Atlanta before being detained by immigration authorities. She said he was held in detention for two months before being deported to Venezuela.
The hotel Lozano was in was housing over 100 other Venezuelans who were deported from the U.S., several families told ABC News.
