China test-launches ballistic missile from submarine in the Pacific

BEIJING -- China’s military test-launched a ballistic missile Monday from a submarine in the Pacific, state media reported.

The missile carried a dummy warhead, according to the one-line announcement by the official Xinhua News Agency.
