Arkansas has leaned strongly Republican in recent election cycles, and voted for President Donald Trump by around 30 points in 2024. All four of Arkansas’ U.S. House seats are up for reelection this year and are favored to remain in GOP hands in November. 

Cotton is running for a third term.

Arkansas is also voting for governor this year, with two Democratic candidates vying in a primary for the chance to take on incumbent Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, a Republican running for reelection who faces no primary challengers.
