Majority of Maine voters say Collins is too supportive of Trump: Preliminary Voter Poll
Preliminary Voter Poll data finds roughly 6 in 10 Maine Senate voters say incumbent Republican Sen. Susan Collins is too supportive of Trump.
In 2020, the last time Collins faced reelection, 50% of Maine voters said Collins supported Trump "too much" and about 8 in 10 voted against Collins.
In that same year, 34% of Maine voters said Collins backed Trump "about the right amount" and 94% of these voters supported Collins.

At the same time, about 6 in 10 Maine Senate voters say that Collins will do a better job than Democratic nominee Troy Jackson in getting federal funding for the state, according to the Voter Poll data.
