National Guard troops in DC are now armed, defense official says

President Donald Trump on Sunday responded to Maryland Gov. Wes Moore's invitation to attend a public safety walk next month in Baltimore, offering to send "troops" to the city.

On Friday, Trump announced on social media that the U.S. "now fully owns and controls 10% of INTEL." Trump said he negotiated the deal with Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan.

Earlier Friday, federal agents were seen searching the Maryland residence of former Trump national security adviser turned critic John Bolton. Sources told ABC News the search was related to allegations that Bolton is in possession of classified records.

President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy are now in the Oval Office for bilateral talks.

Trump said Monday's meeting was "very important" and thanked Zelenskyy for being in Washington.

Zelenskyy and Trump shake hands as Zelenskyy arrives at White House

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived at the White House. He and Trump shook hands and smiled. Zelenskyy is wearing an all-black ensemble, including a black jacket.

This is Zelenskyy's first time at the White House since his February clash with President Trump and Vice President JD Vance in the Oval Office, where Trump and Vance accused Zelenskyy of not being grateful enough of U.S. assistance.

Zelenskyy says he and European leaders 'coordinated our positions'

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy greeted European leaders who rushed to Washington to support him in talks with President Donald Trump at the Embassy of Ukraine.

A video posted on X by Zelenskyy shows him dressed in a black coat, welcoming the leaders ahead of the White House meeting with President Trump.

"We must stop the killings, and I thank the partners who are working toward this and ultimately toward a reliable and dignified peace. Together with the leaders of Finland, the United Kingdom, Italy, the European Commission, and the NATO Secretary General, we coordinated our positions ahead of the meeting with President Trump. Ukraine is ready for a real ceasefire and the establishment of a new security architecture. We need peace," Zelenskyy wrote in the social media post.
