Voters in North Carolina will cast their ballots on Tuesday in the battleground state hosting a key U.S. Senate race that could determine control of the chamber.

Former North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper faces off against President Donald Trump-backed former Republican National Committee Chair Michael Whatley for the open seat held by outgoing Republicans Sen. Thom Tillis who is not seeking reelection.

North Carolina voters will also decide a couple of competitive House races on Tuesday, notably in the state’s 1st and 11th Congressional Districts. North Carolina redrew its congressional map last year to advantage Republicans.
