'Primetime' Report: Tsunami Disaster

Dec. 29, 2004 — -- Charles Gibson anchors a special edition of "Primetime" tonight at 10 p.m. ET. The one-hour special, "Tsunami: Wave of Destruction," examines the chain of events that led to the devastating destruction in South Asia, the impact of relief efforts beginning to arrive in the region, and the science of tsunamis, and looks back at other catastrophic natural disasters.

The special also will include eyewitness accounts from survivors and a look at what experts are doing to brace for a potential aftershock.
