— -- Just opening the Chocolate by LG is a tactile pleasure. In fact, it might be almost too much fun. The sleek design and bright screen are great to look at, with the cover of the phone sliding gracefully into an extended position (a nice alternative to the flip phone) revealing a push button dial pad in front, and 1.3 megapixel camera on the back. As a bonus, the small little machine (only slightly bigger than a 15 stick pack of gum) has a memory slot for SD/SDIO Cards, Bluetooth capability, and an MP3 player.

So what's the downside? Well, opening and closing the phone might be a little too much fun-- and as you hang up whenever you close the phone-- it might be a little too easy to accidentally "disconnect." The touch screen buttons that cover the dial-pad are beautiful, but almost too sensitive, as a mere flutter of your fingers takes you to a million different menus. In addition, for those accustomed to using the iPod, the touch screen eerily resembles the iPod "click-wheel"-- but doesn't function anything like it.

All in all, the Chocolate by LG is a sexy phone, with everything you need in a easily digestible package.
