2 adults, 9-year-old go missing after tubing on Muskegon River
Family members have not been able to contact any of the missing individuals.
Authorities are investigating the disappearance of three people believed to have been tubing on the Muskegon River in Michigan.
Jazzmin Hock, 28; Sarah Vida, 28; and Kayden Kovalcik, 9; are believed to have been using orange and pink tubes when they went missing on Tuesday, according to Michigan State Police.
The investigation began after the father of one of the missing women found her vehicle at the Maple Island Boat Launch with a broken window, according to State Police.
Family members have not been able to contact any of the missing individuals, who have been missing for over 24 hours, Michigan State Police said late Wednesday.
Troopers are actively searching the area, State Police said.
