Trump adviser Hassett says admin has options on tariffs but 'confident' they'll win in court
Kevin Hassett, from the White House National Economic Council, continued to promote the administration's trade deals and responded to a court ruling that blocks some of President Donald Trump's global tariffs during an interview with FOX Business Network's "Mornings with Maria" on Thursday.
Hassett said the administration was "confident" it would win on appeal, contending fentanyl crossing the border from Mexico, Canada and China amount to an "emergency."

Hassett mentioned that the Trump administration has "three or four other ways to do it" regarding tariffs as they move forward, but still projected optimism they would prevail in court.
"There are different approaches that would take a couple of months to put these in place and using procedures that have been approved in the past or approved in the last administration, but we're not planning to pursue those right now because we're very, very confident that this really is incorrect," Hassett said.
