Jodie Foster Pregnant Again

April 3, 2001 -- Actress Jodie Foster is pregnant again, columnist Liz Smith reports, and as before, there's no word as to who the father might be.

The 38-year-old actress, who has never married, is expecting her second bundle of joy in November, Smith reports. "My sisters and I are all Scorpios, so we have a soft spot for the birth date," Foster told the gossip slinger.

Foster adds, "I enjoyed being pregnant with Charlie and I look forward to this experience again. I am into all the health foods, yoga, and the rest of it."

However, the two-time Oscar winner won't dish on who the father is, or whether it's the same man who fathered soon-to-be-3 Charlie. "I won't answer that," said the star.

Less than a year ago, Foster was the victim of false pregnancy rumors. Because one of her pals is actor Russell Crowe, whom she was slated to direct in the now-shelved Flora's Plum, speculation ran high that she and the gladiator were more than friends.

After Plum fell through due to a debilitating shoulder injury Crowe sustained, Foster took over the lead in The Panic Room thanks to another injury, this one to Nicole Kidman's bad knee.
