Uma's Eye-Popping Adventure

August 18, 2000 -- If the fellas' eyes pop out around beauteous Uma Thurman, we can't say we're surprised. But even the new face of Lancôme couldn't expect this literally eye-popping adventure: Her dad, Robert Thurman, emerged from a swimming pool minus one glass eye, reports US Weekly.

The quick-thinking Uma jumped in and recovered the lost item from the bottom of the pool. It seems that pop, who's a director of Tibet House, lost the eye years ago in a tire iron mishap while fixing his car.
