'Zodiac,' 'Marvel Zombies' and more: What Marvel Studios showed at NYCC 2026
"Zodiac" and "Marvel Zombies" Halloween specials are coming to Disney+.
Marvel Studios gave New York Comic Con attendees a taste of its upcoming TV slate this week, with espionage, artificial intelligence, the undead and a superhero team reunion on the horizon.
Here's everything the studio revealed at Thursday's panel.
Live-action shows
"Zodiac," a new show, will arrive on Disney+ in 2028. It's unclear what this spy-thriller will be about, but it's a name that's been used multiple times in Marvel Comics history.
Since the S.H.I.E.L.D. symbol is visible in the logo's "A," it seems this show might continue the story of the spy organization.
"Daredevil: Born Again" season 3, the show's last, will reunite the Defenders and see the return of Finn Jones as Danny Rand/Iron Fist. It'll stream on Disney+ in 2027.
Jones joined Krysten Ritter and Charlie Cox (who play Jessica Jones and Matt Murdock/Daredevil) onstage for a partial reunion Thursday. Mike Colter was absent, but will also appear in the show, returning as Luke Cage.
Attendees also got to see the first episode of "VisionQuest," which will wrap up the story of "WandaVision" and "Agatha All Along."
The first two episodes of "VisionQuest" hit Disney+ next Wednesday, Oct. 14.
Animated series
"Marvel Zombies" fans will eat well over the next three years, as the series return to Disney+ for two-part special events each spooky season:
It seems like these will focus on Bucky Barnes, Moon Knight and the Guardians of the Galaxy's final surviving member, respectively.
"Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" season 2 will debut on Disney+ on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2027. This season will see the webslinger don his iconic black costume, suggesting he's in for some moody times.
Attendees also got an exclusive preview of "X-Men '97" season 3, showing Rogue and Gambit's wedding and the return of the villainous Brotherhood of Mutants. This season will premiere on Disney+ in 2027, with a fourth planned for sometime in the future.
