Emeril's Comfort for the Coast Finalists
Nov. 15, 2005— -- There were supposed to be five finalists in Emeril Lagasse's "Comfort for the Coast" contest, but there were so many delicious entries, Lagasse had to have six finalists.
The contest focuses on comfort food recipes because many people turn to food in times of crisis and chef Emeril Lagasse lived in New Orleans. He owns three restaurants in the city.
On Friday, Emeril will surprise the grand prize winner, and she will travel to New York to prepare her recipe on "Good Morning America."
