Eva Mendes reacts to Ryan Gosling's new song with Dead Man's Bones

Ryan Gosling and Zach Shields released new music for Dead Man's Bones.

Eva Mendes has a new favorite song and it's by her husband's band.

The actress took to Instagram Monday to share a new song by her husband, Ryan Gosling's band, Dead Man's Bones.

"My new favorite song is hauntingly romantic…" she captioned her post. "LOST IN THE NIGHT."

In a separate post on Tuesday, Mendes shared a fan video with clips of Mendes and Gosling from their 2012 drama, "The Place Beyond the Pines," set to "Lost in the Night."

Mendes captioned the post, "Crazy you should pick that time period for this song….he sang it to me during that time. I asked him to please record it."

She added, "It’s been haunting me ever since… 🖤"

The song was released Monday night along with a music video featuring "The Summer I Turned Pretty" star Rain Spencer and "Hamnet" actor Noah Jupe.

"Lost in the Night" is Dead Man's Bones first song in 17 years and introduces fans to a new sound from Gosling and writer and producer Zach Shields.

A description about the new song on the Anti- Records Label website says, "After trying several Los Angeles studios without finding the sound they wanted, the duo took two guitars, two drum machines, and two synthesizers to a farm outside the city and and recorded the song in a day."

"The result is a shadowy but undeniably hopeful homemade anthem that hints at an exciting new direction for the duo," Anti- Records added.

In an Instagram post about the new single, they wrote, "Thanks for sticking with us all these years. New single, Lost in the Night. More coming soon."

Dead Man's Bones released their debut self-titled album in 2009 and nearly 20 years later, has more than 430,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.

While promoting his film, "Project Hail Mary," earlier this year, Gosling talked about the band when asked by British magazine NME, sharing that he said that he and Shields formed the Dead Man's Bones after bonding over their love for Disneyland's Haunted Mansion attraction.

"I always loved that ride and I like just Disney's approach to spooky things like Skeleton Symphony and all that," he said. "They had like a kind of -- the old mill, there's just like an angle they have on it that's very I think unique."

Gosling also revealed that he and Shields played all the instruments on the debut album -- sort of.

"I think that's true but not true," he said. "I'm sure we had some people come in and help make it actually work but the goal was, let's play things that we don't know how to play."
