Golden Globes 2026 updates: Highlights of the night's biggest moments, winners and style

Some of the biggest stars in entertainment won big.

The 83rd annual Golden Globes are officially in the books!

From television to movies to podcasts (for the first time ever), Hollywood's best and brightest were honored by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association on Sunday night.

Some of the night's big winners in the world of film included the Paul Thomas Anderson thriller "One Battle After Another" and "Hamnet," starring Golden Globe winner Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal.

Television's big winners included Seth Rogen's "The Studio" and "Adolescence."

Nikki Glaser kicks off Golden Globes with monologue

Nikki Glaser opened the 2026 Golden Globes with a monologue acknowledging some of Hollywood's biggest stars in attendance.

The comedian and actress poked fun at her return to the show saying "just like 'Wicked,' I'm back for a sequel."

She then shouted out celebrities including "Jay Kelly" star George Clooney, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Kevin Hart and Jennifer Lawrence.

The host also called out the cast of "White Lotus" season 3 and its risqué plotline, and took jabs at Leonardo DiCaprio, before joking with his "One Battle After Another" co-stars.

Glaser touched on more best pictures nominees like "Sinners" including star Michael B. Jordan, "Wicked" and "Marty Supreme." She also joked with Timothée Chalamet, saying he's "the first actor in history to have to put on muscle for a movie about ping-pong."

She capped off the introduction with a jab at Steve Martin and Martin Short saying they, "keep proving to us that in this industry, you are never ever too old to still need money!


Timothée Chalamet hits the carpet

"Marty Supreme" actor Timothée Chalamet has arrived on the Golden Globes red carpet.

Chalamet is nominated for best performance by a male actor in a motion picture (musical or comedy).


Hailee Steinfeld shows off pregnancy on red carpet

Hailee Steinfeld, who stars in the Ryan Coogler thriller "Sinners," hit the red carpet in a peach colored gown that showed off her pregnancy.

Steinfeld recently announced she is expecting a child with husband Josh Allen, quarterback of the Buffalo Bills.

Steinfeld's carpet appearance comes just hours after Allen's crucial performance in a thrilling playoff victory, which lifted the Bills to the next round of the NFL playoffs.


Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco step out for Globes date night

The Golden Globes red carpet served as a date night for Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, as well as newlyweds Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco, who wed in September.

Gomez is nominated for best performance by a female actor in a television series (musical or comedy) for her role as Mabel in the Hulu hit "Only Murders in the Building."


More couples on the red carpet included Adam Brody and Leighton Meester, Jackie Sandler and Adam Sandler, and Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis.
