Lorde has some exciting news for fans around the globe.
On Thursday, the "Solar Power" singer announced her Ultrasound World Tour, which kicks off Sept. 17. The announcement follows last month's reveal of her upcoming album "Virgin," set for release June 27.
"Ultrasound ——— I am going on tour in support of my new album, Virgin," Lorde wrote in the caption of an Instagram post Thursday. "Very proud and excited to be bringing my most talented friends in support. Tickets on sale May 16, pre-sale May 14. Come see what's under the skin."
Lorde will be joined by a lineup of special guests on select dates, including Blood Orange, The Japanese House, Nilüfer Yanya, Chanel Beads, Empress Of, Jim-E Stack, and Oklou.
The tour launches at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, with major stops along the way, including New York City's Madison Square Garden, Los Angeles' Kia Forum, and Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena, before wrapping the North American leg on Oct. 22 at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle.
The tour then heads overseas for shows in France, Germany, Denmark, and more, with the final concert set for Dec. 9 at Stockholm's Annexet.
In April, Lorde announced "Virgin" and revealed its striking cover art: a pelvic X-ray featuring what appeared to be a belt buckle, an IUD, and the button and zipper of a pair of jeans.
The first single, "What Was That," has already become her first No. 1 on U.S. Spotify since "Royals," according to her label.
