Prince William & Kate Middleton bring their children to 2026 Commonwealth Games
The family attended the netball final between Jamaica and Australia.
Prince William and Kate, the Princess of Wales, turned a visit to the 2026 Commonwealth Games into a family outing on Saturday.
The royal couple attended the Games in Glasgow, Scotland, with their three children: Prince George, 13, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8.
A press officer at the Games told ABC News that the family attended the netball final between Jamaica and Australia before meeting volunteers and athletes.
George, Charlotte and Louis also joined their parents for meet-and-greets and exchanged high-fives with people at the Games, including the Commonwealth Games mascot.
The family later headed to the velodrome to watch cycling alongside two of Great Britain’s most decorated cyclists: Sir Chris Hoy and Dame Laura Kenny.
Hoy is a six-time Olympic gold medalist. Kenny is Britain’s most successful female Olympian, having won five Olympic gold medals and one silver during her career.
While in Scotland, William and Kate are known by their Scottish titles, the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay.
The Commonwealth Games bring together athletes representing countries and territories from across the Commonwealth, with competitors taking part in a range of sports throughout the international event.
