How to save on gas with new Fuel Day promo at Circle K amid soaring prices
The convenience and fuel retailer is offering up to 40 cents off per gallon.
Drivers looking for a break at the gas pump can save while filling up at Circle K on Thursday.
The convenience store chain and fuel retailer announced in a press release this week that it is running a Fuel Day promotion on Thursday, May 7, which will be available at participating Circle K-operated locations that sell gasoline.
Customers can get up to 40 cents off per gallon between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. directly at the pump at participating locations, according to the Circle K website.
Members of Inner Circle, the company's free membership program, can get early access to the Fuel Day discount between 12:01 a.m. and 3 p.m. by entering their mobile number at the pump, the website states.
In observance of Memorial Day, Circle K announced that it will donate 10% of Fuel Day profits between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, an organization that provides "college and trade school scholarships, educational assistance, and career support to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty," according to its website.
Circle K is running additional promotions this summer in celebration of the nation's 250th birthday, including car wash and meal deals, as well as a sweepstakes offering entrants a chance to win a Circle K gift card.
The promotion comes at a time when Americans are feeling the pinch at the pump, with gas prices skyrocketing to some of the highest levels in four years, amid the war in Iran.
Louise Warner, Circle K's executive vice president of North America operations, said in a statement included in this week's press release, "At Circle K, every visit counts, and this summer, we're showing up with real, tangible savings across fuel, food and more to make every stop a little more affordable for the people who count on us."
