LONDON -- A passenger flight traveling from Dublin to Rome was diverted to a French military base "following a bomb threat," the French Prime Minister's Office said Thursday.

The Airbus A320 was diverted to Évreux-Fauville Air Base in the Normandy region of northern France, according to the prime minister's office.

"The situation is being monitored in real time," the prime minister's office added.
