Kansas 2026 live midterm elections results
The state is home to a race for governor and key Senate seat.
Kansan voters could make history on Tuesday by sending Democrat Adam Hamilton to the U.S. Senate, breaking the party's 94-year losing streak.
Hamilton, a pastor leading the country's largest United Methodist congregation in the country, is challenging Republican incumbent Sen. Roger Marshall for the seat.
There is also a competitive race for governor that could determine whether Republicans win a state government trifecta. Democratic state Sen. Cindy Holscher and state Senate President Ty Masterson are running for the open seat to replace term-limited Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly.
