Trump admin updates: EU will buy $750 billion worth of U.S. energy under deal
The deal would impose a 15% tariff on most goods.
President Donald Trump and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced on Sunday the U.S. and the EU had reached a deal that would impose a 15% tariff on most goods.
Under the deal, the EU will purchase $750 billion worth of energy from the U.S. and invest $600 billion more than it's already is.
Meanwhile, Trump's health secretary, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., plans to oust all 16 members of a task force that recommends which preventive health services, such as cancer screenings, must be covered by insurance.

Trump predicts end of late night TV
President Donald Trump took aim at late night talk shows in a social media post Tuesday, in light of "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" ending in 2026.
The president continued to suggest that Jimmy Kimmel is next to fall, followed shortly by Jimmy Fallon.

Trump reduces Philippines' tariff rate by 1%
President Donald Trump has reduced the Philippines' tariff rate by 1% after a bilateral meeting and lunch at the White House with the country's president on Tuesday.
The Philippines now faces a 19% tariff.
"It was a beautiful visit, and we concluded our Trade Deal, whereby The Philippines is going OPEN MARKET with the United States, and ZERO Tariffs. The Philippines will pay a 19% Tariff," Trump wrote on social media following the visit.
Trump called the meeting a "great honor" and suggested again that Philippines President Marcos was a "tough" negotiator.

Trump was not aware of Ghislaine Maxwell meeting with Deputy AG Todd Blanche
While meeting with Philippines President Marcos, President Donald Trump said he "doesn’t know a thing" about Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche saying he will meet with Ghislaine Maxwell, the convicted associate of deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
He said the meeting between Blanche and Maxwell "sounds appropriate to do."
“I don’t really follow that too much," Trump said, calling the demand for the release of the files to be a "witch hunt."
Trump on Powell: 'He's going to be out soon anyway'
President Donald Trump was asked about Fed Chair Jerome Powell's future.
The president, who referred Powell as a "numbskull," claimed "He's going to be out soon anyway."
