Voters are heading to the polls on June 9, 2026.
Primary elections are taking place in South Carolina on Tuesday, with voters weighing in on the state's governor race as well as House and Senate seats.
Republican Rep. Nancy Mace is running for the state's governor against Lt. Gov. Pamela Evette and other candidates. Democrats, meanwhile, hope to flip the governorship currently held by the term-limited Republican Gov. Henry McMaster.
South Carolina's 1st Congressional District, currently represented by Mace, is also up for grabs.
