Wisconsin 2026 live midterm elections results
Voters will cast ballots in the governors race as well as key House races.
Wisconsin voters are set to cast ballots on Tuesday in the midterm elections where they will elect the next governor of the battleground state as well as key House races.
Democrat David Crowley, the Milwaukee County executive, is facing off against Republican Rep. Tom Tiffany, an ally to President Donald Trump. Crowley could become the first Black governor of Wisconsin, and Democrats hope to win a state government trifecta for the first time in 16 years.
There are also two competitive U.S. House races. Republicans are looking to defend Rep. Derrick Van Orden's seat in the state's 3rd Congressional District against Democrat Rebecca Cooke, a self-described small business owner and waitress. In 2024, he defeated Cooke by about 3 percentage points.
In the 1st Congressional District, Republican incumbent Rep. Bryan Steil is fending off a challenge from Democrat Mitchell Berman, a political newcomer and emergency room nurse.
