Review: Lululemon Athletica Cruiser Backpack
Lululemon's Cruiser backpack stands up to the test.
Sept. 26, 2007 — -- It is hard for one bag to be all things to all people, but the Lululemon Cruiser Backpack ($74) comes pretty close.
Transporting a laptop? No problem, as the padded laptop pocket is convenient and protective.
If you like bringing your lunch to work as well as working out in the morning, the Cruiser has an internal pouch that will keep sweaty gymwear from ruining your sandwich.
The waterproof, PVC-free backpack also has a special pocket to carry your yoga mat.
Thirteen color-coded pockets allow items, such as your iPod, sunglasses, cellphone, water bottle, BlackBerry and digital camera to be easily retrieved.
The Lululemon Cruiser is a terrific everyday bag, with a reasonable price tag. For business meetings, or job interviews, however, I would stick with a more upscale messenger bag.
