The 83rd annual Golden Globes are officially in the books!

From television to movies to podcasts (for the first time ever), Hollywood's best and brightest were honored by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association on Sunday night. 

Some of the night's big winners in the world of film included the Paul Thomas Anderson thriller "One Battle After Another" and "Hamnet," starring Golden Globe winner Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal.

'Adolescence' wins best television limited series, anthology series or motion picture made for television

"Adolescence" won the Golden Globe for best television limited series, anthology series or motion picture made for television.

Writer Jack Thorne accepted the award with his collaborators.

He highlighted the young people in the show's cast, saying, "You are proof the world can be better."

He added, "Removing hate is our generation's responsibility. It requires thought from the top down. The possibility seems remote right now, but hope is a beautiful thing."

Other nominees in the category included "All Her Fault," "The Beast In Me," "Black Mirror," "Dying for Sex" and "The Girlfriend."

'The Pitt' wins Golden Globe for best television series (drama)

The medical drama "The Pitt" won the Golden Globe for best television series (drama), beating out "The Diplomat," "Pluribus," "Severance," "Slow Horses" and "The White Lotus."

The second season of the HBO Max hit premiered this week.

Noah Wyle also won the Golden Globe for best performance for his role in "The Pitt."

Rhea Seehorn wins Golden Globe for best performance by a female actor in a television series (drama)

Rhea Seehorn took home the Golden Globe for best performance by a female actor in a television series (drama) for "Pluribus."

Seehorn accepted the award and thanked presenter Queen Latifah, saying, "Queen Latifah, I met you about 20 years ago between jobs at a Koo Koo Roo, and you were so nice. So, thanks."

She also thanked "Pluribus" creator Vince Gilligan, the cast, crew, her family and more.

She finished, "I'm still so grateful that I get to do this for a living, and this is incredible icing on that cake."

Ricky Gervais wins best performance in stand-up comedy on television

Ricky Gervais was awarded the Golden Globe for best performance in stand-up comedy on television for “Ricky Gervais: Mortality.”

Other nominees in the category were "Bill Maher: Is Anyone Else Seeing This?," "Brett Goldstein: The Second Best Night Of Your Life," "Kevin Hart: Acting My Age," "Kumail Nanjiani: Night Thoughts," and "Sarah Silverman: PostMortem."
