Chappell Roan wowed the audience with a performance of her song "Pink Pony Club" on Sunday at the 2025 Grammys.

Roan -- who performed with a gaggle of clowns -- called the song her "love letter to LA" in a video package that played before she took to the stage.

Olivia Rodrigo introduced Roan's performance, calling her "my extraordinary friend."
Roan earned six Grammy nominations this year, including best new artist, song of the year, record of the year and album of the year.
Anthony Kiedis and Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers presented the Grammy Award for best pop vocal album to Sabrina Carpenter for "Short n' Sweet."
While accepting the award, Carpenter said, "I really was not expecting this, and all those nominees that were just on the screen are some of my favorite artists in the world, and I can't believe I'm nominated against them or even in this room."

"I feel so lucky to be able to come together and do something so special and beautiful and celebrate music," she added. "I want to thank all the fans that let my music be heard by the Recording Academy. I want to thank my mom for driving me to every voice lesson."
She continued, "'Short n' Sweet' means the world -- thank you to the producers and writers who made the album."
Other nominees in the category included "HIT ME HARD AND SOFT" by Billie Eilish, "eternal sunshine" by Ariana Grande, "The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess" by Chappell Roan and "THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT" by Taylor Swift.
Doechii won the Grammy for best rap album for "Alligator Bites Never Heal."
"Three women have won: Lauryn Hill, Cardi B and Doechii," she said addressing the history of the category.

"I dedicated myself to sobriety, and God told me that I would be rewarded, and that he would show me just how good it can get," she continued, thanking God, her mother and her hometown, Tampa, Florida.
She added, "I know that there is some Black girl out there, so many Black women out there that are watching me right now, and I want to tell you: You can do it. Anything is possible. Anything is possible. Don't allow anybody to project any stereotypes on you that tell you that you can't be here, that tell you that you're too dark or that you are not smart enough or that you're too dramatic, you are too loud. You are exactly who you need to be ... right where you are. I am a testimony."
